Buren — A demanding mountain outing on Kvaløya for fit hikers comfortable with steep terrain.
Extreme · Experienced Mountain Hikers
Hamperokken — A demanding ridge route with exposed sections and scrambling near the summit. For experienced mountain hikers comfortable with heights.
Tromsdalstinden · Summer Route — The steeper, more direct approach, with strenuous climbing and rocky terrain. Included in our highest tier for the effort involved; it is not the same technical challenge as Hamperokken.
Store Blåmann — A steep ascent with exposed scrambling and route-finding. Suitable for experienced mountain hikers.
Google Maps links show the places, not hiking routes. Use a proper trail map for mountain walks. For the exposed routes, consider a local guide if you’re unfamiliar with the terrain. More about the two Tromsdalstinden routes.
